BEING NARCISO (P.E TEACHER) FOR ONE DAY :)

BEING AN ULTIMATE FRISBEE COACH

Resultado de imagen de ultimate frisbeeResultado de imagen de ultimate frisbeeWelcome ladies and gentlemen, some time ago I was said to be the teacher for one day, the sport chosen was ultimate frisbee, a good fun way of enjoying a P.E class!
I decided to structure the class in six blocks: 
1.WARM UP, 2. FITNESS BLOCK, 3.TECHNICAL BLOCK, 4.INDIVIDUAL TACTIC BLOCK, 5.COLECTIVE BLOCK AND A 6.COOL DOWN.

MY ULTIMATE TRAINING
1.WARMING UP:
We will start with 7' running.
Streching very lightly.
Some easy passes with the frisbee.

2.FITNESS TASK
After warming up, we will do groups of three people, one will pass the disk to the score area, other one will run in order to catch the disk and a third person will follow the attacker trying to avoid him to score. (Each person will do each position three or four times). If we do it well we could finish doing a pass like this in the video... OMG!

3.TECHNICAL TASK
In groups of four, a person will start running very slowly and he will pass the disk to the first people using the back hand, to the second person using the flick and to the third he will do a long pass, he will do it once going as far as the middle of the court and another one coming back. Here you have the type of passes you could try to perfom in this exercise.

4.INDIVIDUAL TACTIC TASK
In groups of three, one person will have the disk, another will defense one side and he will have to try to break the force that the defense is doing at one side by passing the disk to his classmate. Here you have an useful video about good ways of defending in ultimate.

5.COLECTIVE TASK
We will separate us in two halfs, and we will play a single match trying to apply everything we have been practising before. In this video you will watch how much you could enjoy playing an ultimate match, this is the best part of our training.

COMMENTS ABOUT MY TEMPORY JOB AS TEACHER
Today I had five pupils who wanted to be taught by me. Here are their comments:

Nuria: It was cool, although I had to run too much! Jajajaja just kidding, you aren't a bad teacher. Maybe your training would improve if it wasn't so hot!

Javier: My favourite part of the training wasn't the match as you said, it was that first part when we had to run as quick as we can.

Emma: I liked your labour as a teacher, you are a hot one jajaja no. Well honestly as Nuria said I had to run too much.

Minerva: I liked it because I learned one new way of trowing the disk I didn't know before.

Helena: My favourite part was the cooling down because I got to strecht correctly and to solve some back hurts I had before.
